This is the first time I served as a pharmacist in a medical mission but the dynamics are the same as with the other medical missions.
We were able to serve at least 600 patients in the Pasig area community ( If I heard that correctly from one of the staff in the service).
Anyway, as a general rule, even if you are serving in a fast paced environment, we should still insist the practice of rational drug use.
The rational drug use is a practice of providing or exercising the "rights" to a patient. That is the right medicine given to the right patient with the right dose given at the right time .... and the story of the "rights" go on.
So what the fuss is all about the rights? well, if you are not careful and educated enough about this, the consequences are plenty... like high cost, not finishing the course of the medications on time, injury or even death.
The experience is both tiring and rewarding.
There's no greater reward in fulfilling a day's work than to see a happy patient showing a smile with an immeasurable gratitude towards you. :)

Welcome To Better Pharmacy
Welcome again to this new blog site!
Thanks for following my site.
So what's the purpose of this site? well, for starters hopefully to provide a better management of the common medications presented to each individual or patient when a prescription is given to you.
It is necessary to go to your physician or specialist if you have any problem that needed attention.
This site is not complete and any question or query must be directed to the physician or specialist for immediate attention.
Once again, thanks and hopefully I have assisted or educated you in anyway.
Regards
Curiosity
